Each September, carnivores flock to downtown St. Louis for Q in the Lou, a celebration of barbecue featuring pitmasters from across the country. The identity draws from a deep reservoir of BBQ culture: rich colors, smokey typography, and spicey puns about butts. I've still got sauce under my fingernails.
